Local Greater Cleveland Chorus Requesting Female Singers for Program

Greater Cleveland Chorus is hosting a special event…real women sing!

It is an opportunity for you the everyday gal to come and learn two songs, 4-part a cappella style with our five-time championship chorus and be special guests on our annual show, Saturday, November 14, 2009.

We will provide the sheet music and learning CD's. No long-term commitment for you, just a chance to get out and show your real woman and give real harmony and have real fun! We will invite you to stay for the entire rehearsal.

This opportunity is open to all women 16 years up to ageless!

Rehearsals start promptly at 7 PM at the Independence United Methodist Church at 6615 Brecksville Road in Independence, OH 44131

The Greater Cleveland chorus is one of 16 Sweet Adelines International choruses that participated in the Acappela Rocks On regional competition. The Greater Cleveland Chorus members range in age from early 20's to 80's, who all share a love for music and singing four-part barbershop harmony.

Sweet Adelines International is a musical force in the United States and around the world. The organization is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma where it was founded in 1945.

This nonprofit music education organization is one of the world's largest singing organizations for women encompassing more than 25,000 members, 1,200 registered quartets and 600 choruses in most of the fifty United States, Australia, Canada, England, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland, Sweden, The Netherlands and Wales.
