Now, the level of harsh you speak of is relative to each individual. I have seen TOOOO MANY times a child trying to take advantage of the 'public scene' to attain 'their' desired result....soooo I have no problem when I see a strong, un weilding parent stand 'their' ground to take the control 'back' where it belongs.
