Go Red for Women
2-29-2008

Go Red for Women logoWhat will you do with your extra day (leap day) of life this year?

You are invited to join more than 800 Cleveland-area women, who will be taking advantage of this opportunity, and attend the 5th annual Go Red For Women Breakfast and Health Expo on February 29, 2008. The event is presented by University Hospitals Heart & Vascular Institute.

The American Heart Association will be "rolling out the red carpet" at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel - starting at 7:00 am with free health screenings and health exhibits, plus a fabulous RED silent auction.

Free "heart to heart" breakout sessions on a variety of health topics will be offered. These breakout sessions are presented by Merck, University Hospitals Heart & Vascular Institute, and KeyBank.

Highlight of the morning will be the breakfast program led by Event Chairperson Barbara Ann Reynolds, President of Real Living Realty One. A heart-healthy breakfast will be served, and keynote speaker, Emmy award-winning actress Tracey Conway, will tell the true story of her sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 38, while she was on stage. Wrapping up the program will be the popular RED fashion show, presented by Macy's, something you won't want to miss.

To reserve your table of 10, or to purchase an individual ticket to this red hot, red carpet fundraising event, call 216-619-5143. Reserve early, Go Red For Women usually sells out.

Go Red For Women is nationally sponsored by Macy's and Merck, and locally presented by University Hospitals Heart & Vascular Institute. Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association's year-round awareness and call to action campaign to keep women heart healthy.
