Michelle Sikes

Michelle Sikes is becoming a real force to be reckoned with in the Women's Track and Field world.

She attended Lakewood High School and earned eight varsity letters between cross country and track. She was a State Champion and an All-American at Lakewood.

Michelle went on to Wake Forest and continued her success. There she had great success including earning All-American honors at the NCAA Championships in the 5,000-meter run (16:12.14)

She graduated from Wake Forest last spring and will be participating in the US Olympic Trials.

Michelle was honored as the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission's collegiate athlete of the year at their awards ceremony on January 24, 2008.
