New Directions for Living, a Lake County non-profit transitional housing organization, is proud to announce the first annual Steppin' Out for Administrative Professionals Day.
The special recognition event will take place at LaMalfa Party Center on Wed, April 23, 2008. The event is a luncheon to honor administrative professionals, receptionists and support personnel and is a new way for busy executives to show their appreciation on National Administrative Professionals Day.

"Executives appreciate the dedication and support they receive day in and day out from their administrative assistants. Conveying their gratitude sometimes creates a dilemma," said Chris Nemenz, New Directions for Living Board President. "Treating their staff members to Steppin' Out for Administrative Professionals Day is a great alternative to candy and flowers."
Attendees will enjoy lunch, prizes and a program dedicated especially to them. The program will include a presentation on the effects of workplace stress and provide strategies for managing energy.
Doors open for Steppin' Out for Administrative Professionals Day at 10:30 a.m; seating for lunch will begin at 11:45 a.m. Guests are invited to browse sponsor displays and network with other professionals when the doors open.
LaMalfa Party Center is located within the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites at 5783 Heisley Road in Mentor, Ohio.
The event is sponsored by The Women's Journals of Lake, Ashtabula and Geauga Counties.
Tickets are $35 per person or $250 for a table of eight. To make reservations, please call New Directions for Living at 440-357-6142 or visit www.newdirectionsforliving.org.

Proceeds from the event will support the work of New Directions for Living, a non-profit transitional housing organization and a Lake County United Way Agency that provides assistance to Lake County's homeless.
