American Diabetes Association event - Thursday, March 25th
On Thursday, March 25th at The Cleveland Play House, The American Diabetes Association will present distinguished guest speaker Dr. Michael Roizen who will coach on "YOU the Owner's Manual" - lifestyle changes to live, feel and look years younger.
A $50 VIP reception begins at 6 p.m. with epicurean delights by Chef John Natividad of Stages. General admission for $20 begins at 7 p.m.
A book signing, dessert reception, and a chance to win two round-trip airline tickets to New York City to see the Dr. Oz show will also be a part of this special evening. Monica Robbins of WKYC will be your host.
Diabetes is a serious disease that affects 330,000 children and adults in Northeast Ohio and 24 million adults and children nationally. An additional 82,000- or one in five Northeast Ohioans have pre-diabetes, which puts them at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
Dr. Michael Roizen is Chief Wellness Officer for the Cleveland Clinic, author and co-author of five number one New York Times best sellers, four in the YOU series which he co-authored with Dr. Mehmet Oz. He is also the co-founder of the website RealAge.
