The 2009 Fabulous Food Show

The 2009 Fabulous Food Show in Cleveland was, well, fabulous!

Tens of thousands of people visited the IX Center Nov 13-15, 2009 to sample new foods and wines, learn cooking techniques and see their favorite Food Network stars. Busloads of people from Buffalo, Chicago and other cities mixed with happy food adventurers from the Cleveland area.

The Grand Tasting Pavilion was, as always, a popular destination as attendees sampled wines, beers and other spirits.

For many, the highlight of the show was the appearance of their favorite celebrity chefs. After their demonstrations, the Chefs appeared in the Autograph Pavilion to sign books and take pictures.

When Bobby Flay saw that there were still fans waiting for autographs after the "official" signing time, he went out to meet them.

The roar during the celebrity chef's presentations rivalled any rock concert. None was louder than for local favorite, Iron Chef Michael Symon. Chef Symon's demonstrations were all sold out (as were all the celebrity chef sessions) but huge screens throughout the show displayed the live video feed.

During his autograph signing session, Chef Symon met up with former Cleveland Brown Al Bubba Baker.

It was also nice to see other local flavors in the show.
