In 1982, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation started with a promise between two sisters. This year, our 25th anniversary, we are shifting into another gear, recommitting to finally, once and for all, finish what we started.
Run. Walk.
Get inspired. Get involved.
Make a new friend.
Make a difference.
Take the first step.
Join the Race.
Join us on Saturday, September 15, 2007, when over 20,000 determined Ohioans set out to make a difference in that statistic by participating in the 2007 Komen Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure® in Downtown Cleveland.
The Komen Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure® has an event for all ages and skill levels.
For those who like to run, a 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) Race will be held for men and women. For walkers, the Race offers a non-competitive, untimed 1-Mile Walk. Those who want to walk a longer distance may join the runners in the 5 kilometer Race.
