Make your own Paper Toys

Recently we discovered a terrific website that gives you ideas and patterns to make a wide range of delightful toys out of paper. Marilyn Scott-Waters is the "Toymaker" and she is a very talented lady.

Marilyn offered the following message to ClevelandWomen.com visitors:

Hello and hello from www.thetoymaker.com. My goal is to help grownups and kids spend time together making things.

The nice thing about sitting around a table and making things with paper is that it allows a little space for conversations to take place, something that watching TV or a movie does not. Paper toys are also easy to print out and slip into an envelope to send to someone special.

So, make toys! Play more!

Best thoughts,

Marilyn.

Browse the many toys available on the site and be sure to sign up for her free e-news which will notify you when new toys are posted.

Send us your photos of toys you have made and maybe we will post them for others to see. Have fun!
