Absentee Ballots

The rules have changed. Any qualified Ohio voter may now request an absentee ballot without stating a reason.

You can download a form from your County's Board of Election website, fill it out and they will send you an absentee ballot. Your ballot must be returned no later than 7:30 PM on Election Day, November 7th,2006 in order to be counted.

Cuyahoga County

Geauga County

Lake County

Lorain County

Summit County

Other Ohio Counties



If you can not download the form please write your information on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper. You must include the following information:

Name and voting residence address

Your birth date

A form of Identification. This may include Driver's License No., last four digits of you SSN, a copy of a current photo identification, a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, or other government document that shows your name and address. (Please provide one form of identification)

Election in which you wish to vote

If the election is a primary declare your party choice or ask for an issues only ballot

The mailing address where the ballot should be sent

Your original signature is required

Then mail to your County Board of Elections.
